My name is Sarah and I am currently a Textile Design student at the Rhode Island School of Design.
Sarah Bryant-Cole is an independent textile artist from the California Bay Area who’s work incorporates elements of playfulness and interactivity. Viewers and wearers alike should be a part of the experience and not merely bystanders.
Their work often includes subject matter derived from personal experiences and imagery from the natural world. They feel that nature can be a common ground, or a universal language, that everyone can relate to and therefore functions as wonderful storyteller.
Sarah's work is not kept boxed in to one genre or definition, so they describe their work as bridging fine art and design to create their own avenue in the ever-expanding art climate.
